Just a (very very late) gift for a friend, a drawing of his little sister..

To Justinator97, ahem,

Hey Justin! Remember I said I wanted to draw you something besides the card? Well I've kinda abandoned the whole card thing and not finished most of them

I think I've kinda had enough of making so many cards year after year. Anyway, I did draw this for you! ~~clearly..~~

I'm sorry for not asking for the permission to draw her first, but it just wouldn't be a surprise then, would it?

Anyway, she seems like a little angel

and I know how much she means to you and how much you love her, so I thought it'd be a nice gesture. It's not perfect, and I didn't catch the personality quite too well

but please understand that babies are very very difficult for drawing and I've never even drawn a baby before.. (to make it worse) #fml

Though I did put a lot of time & work & effort in this one, and I hope you'll like it.

Oh and, yay for experimenting with colour

I know you like colourful stuff.

Btw, if for whichever reason you'd want this to be taken down or anything, just let me know. I'll understand and it is perfectly fine

Also, if you'd want a larger version of the photo, I can send it to you (I have your email, yeah?)

just didn't see much use of putting it on dA (takes longer to load, takes longer to upload etc etc)

PS: I'm never drawing babies again..this was so hard ;-;

Holy hell Lela! This is amazing! Thanks a lot! It means extra to me b/c u know how much my sister has helped me along unknowingly since October. She really is my specialest girl. (& she knows it. hahahaha!) I even showed this to my dad & Holly & they asked if they could get it printed. I assume that I can as it's a gift to me. I showed Vivi but she's too little to be impressed. (Maybe in a few more months or something.

)

Oh & don't worry about 'catching her personality'. In the picture u referenced she was only days old & didn't have a personality yet anyway or at least one that she could show.

I can't imagine how long & how much u had to stare at my sister's face to draw this. She'll grow up & u will still be able to point her out in a crowd.

I think I'll journal this picture. People should see it. I'm too proud to have received it not to. Again Lela thanks. U out did yourself. It's awesome.
